Fees and payment

Annual fees

Each grade has an annual fee, set by the Board of IIOET Limited. The fee for your grade is shown before you pay, with both the standard price and the Direct Debit price, and you are told of any change before your next renewal. Corporate membership is priced by tier; see corporate membership.

Honorary Fellows pay no fee.

Pay by Direct Debit and save 5%

Members who pay their annual fee by Direct Debit or bank debit receive a 5% discount on the standard fee, every year they renew this way. It is also the simplest way to stay a member: your renewal is collected automatically, and you are notified in advance of each collection.

Direct Debit is available to members in the UK, Spain, the US, Canada and Australia. Members elsewhere can pay by card at the standard fee. If you switch from Direct Debit to card, the standard fee applies from your next renewal.

Direct Debits are collected by GoCardless on our behalf. In the UK, your payments are protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee, shown on GoCardless's pages when you set up your mandate.

Paying by card

Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are taken by Stripe on its own secure checkout pages. Your card details are entered on Stripe's pages, never on iioet.org, and IIoET never sees or stores them.

Never send card details by email or through any form on this site. We will never ask for them.

Renewal, cancellation and refunds

You will be reminded 30 days before each automatic renewal. You can cancel online as easily as you joined. If you cancel within 14 days of joining you are entitled to a refund, reduced pro rata if you asked for membership to start immediately. Full details are in the membership terms.
