Quantum
Quantum technology has world-class research behind it but no professional home for the people turning it into practice. IIoET gives quantum practitioners a place to be recognised, and gives organisations a trusted voice on what quantum means for them now.
Focus areas
The themes IIoET will publish, assess and convene around in Quantum.
- Quantum computing and its applications
- Post-quantum cryptography and migration planning
- Quantum communications and sensing
- Quantum readiness for organisations and government
Where it converges
The quantum threat to public-key cryptography is a cyber security problem today and a blockchain problem tomorrow, and quantum machine learning is an open question for AI. Migration planning needs all four disciplines in the room.
Related domains: Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain and Web3, Cyber Security.
Latest thought leadership
The first Quantum articles and papers are in preparation.
