Every grade is admitted against a published standard. Choose the grade that fits your experience; you can upgrade as your practice grows.
Online applications open with the member area. Until then, register your interest and we will contact you as soon as applications open for your grade.

| Affiliate | Anyone with a professional interest in emerging technology | Apply online through the member area once it opens. |
| Associate Member (AMIIoET) | Practitioners building careers and credentials | Apply online with evidence of practice; applications are assessed against the published standard. |
| Member (MIIoET) | Experienced practitioners | Apply or upgrade online with evidence of practice; applications are assessed against the published standard. |
| Fellow (FIIoET) | Established experts making a distinguished contribution | Apply or be nominated; Fellowship is assessed by a panel against the published standard. |
| Senior Fellow (SFIIoET) | Recognised leaders shaping their domain | By nomination and panel assessment against the published standard. |
| Corporate | Organisations developing their people and contributing to standards | Use the corporate enquiry form. |
What you will need
- Agreement to the Code of Conduct
- For Associate Member and above, evidence of practice assessed against the Membership Grades and Admission Framework
- Payment of the annual fee for your grade; see fees and payment
